OUR STORY

Thanks to a rough economic climate, and a hunger to design, in 2009 Relise Design Co. came to life by the hands of Rachel Elise. Upon earning a Masters of Interior Architecture & Product Design at Kansas State University, studying Graphic Design at the University of Tennessee, then spending the better part of her early career in the trades of high end furniture design, sport and venue architecture, and graphic design, Relise Design Co. was poised to be a staple in the world of design. Rachel’s experience in graphics, industrial, and environmental design has laid the foundation both in skill and relationships to tackle projects that puzzle many larger firms.

Whether working with a minimal staff on a small projects or within a tight network of other proven designers and vendors, Relise Design Co. continues to bridge the gap between design professions and deliver excellent products with the coveted boutique touch. The firm is built on the principle that problem solving is adventure seeking and that’s a way of life that doesn’t stop when the “work” is done. That being said, Relise looks to partner with firms and designers who are committed to contributing to their community and profession.

Relise Design Co. truly strives to create a collaboratively innovative community and inspire not only creatives, but the whole community to embrace great sustainable design. So much of the designed environment is taken for granted, but it’s an honor and mission to edify the many trades of architecture and design…life is too short not too!

The many years of education are a mirror of her flair for athletics, and adrenaline. She is an avid Volleyball and Basketball player, and pending the weather can be found snowboarding or kayaking.
